Basketball Game Preview: Germantown Friends vs. Shipley

Germantown Friends' tournament run continued when they took on Frankford on Saturday. Germantown Friends simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Frankford 50-17. Germantown Friends has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Shipley humbled Perkiomen School with a 56-24 victory. Shipley is also no stranger to big wins: their blowout on Saturday was the seven match they've won by 20+ points or more this season.

Germantown Friends' record now sits at 16-1. As for Shipley, their record is now 11-6.

Germantown Friends came up short against Shipley in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 40-29. Can Germantown Friends avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
