Basketball Recap: Noble-Whitley Warriors Takes a Loss

If Noble-Whitley Warriors was riding high fresh off their 69-11 takedown of Varsity Opponent on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Noble-Whitley Warriors took a hard 65-50 fall against the Fort Wayne HomeSchool Hawks on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Noble-Whitley Warriors of the 68-56 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Despite the loss, Noble-Whitley Warriors saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Areina B. went 9-for-18 to rack up 25 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points B. has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Sun-Ae B., who posted seven points.

Noble-Whitley Warriors' defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Noble-Whitley Warriors and Fort Wayne HomeSchool will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time Noble-Whitley Warriors sees the court they'll take on La Lumiere at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Fort Wayne HomeSchool, their break will end when they face Kokomo HomeSchool at 2:00 p.m. on December 20.
