St. Patrick had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Stevenson Patriots by a score of 3-2. St. Patrick have struggled against Stevenson recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Emiliano Garcia and Sebastian Rodriguez scored both of St. Patrick's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The win was the third in a row for Stevenson, bringing their record up to 3-0.

St. Patrick wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Glenbard West on the 2nd. As for Stevenson, they have also already played their next game, a 6-1 victory against Maine East on the 2nd.
