Soccer Recap: Burlington Comes Up Short

Burlington lost to Fort Madison back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Grayhounds lost 8-0 to the Bloodhounds.

Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Fort Madison, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2-2.

Burlington will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Keokuk at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Fort Madison, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Pleasant at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
