Baseball Recap: Hiram Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hiram's offense. They came up short against the Cartersville Hurricanes on Thursday, falling 10-0. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Hiram now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Cartersville, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-7.

While Hiram had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
