Soccer Game Preview: Mills vs. Capuchino

Mills hasn't had much luck against Capuchino recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Vikings will square off against the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Mills came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-0 to Harker.

Meanwhile, Capuchino fell victim to Harbor and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Capuchino can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1077th, while Harbor are ranked 488th).

Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Capuchino, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1.

Mills beat Capuchino 2-0 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
