Perry put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Ware County Gators as the Perry Panthers made off with a 4-1 victory. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Gators are ranked 83rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Perry's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those six matches. As for Ware County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Perry will be playing in front of their home fans against Benedictine at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Perry knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Benedictine likes a good challenge. As for Ware County, they will head out on the road to challenge New Hampstead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ware County is facing New Hampstead at the right time seeing as New Hampstead is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
