Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crawford County). Their defense stepped up to hand the Manchester Blue Devils a 7-0 shutout on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Crawford County as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

They hit Manchester with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cameron Smith (2), Perce Belvin (2), David Rodriguez (2), and Desmond Williams.

Crawford County's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-6-1. As for Manchester, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
