Basketball Recap: Saint Mary's Takes a Loss

After flying high against Richmond last Thursday, Saint Mary came back down to earth. The Saint Mary's Panthers fell 56-43 to the Pinole Valley Spartans on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 58-50 loss last Wednesday.

Saint Mary's has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-14 record this season. As for Pinole Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Saint Mary's nor Pinole Valley have any future games scheduled.
