Softball Recap: Arlington Takes a Loss

Arlington managed to slip by NEN the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against NEN on Tuesday, falling 8-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since August 23rd.

Arlington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lauren Pittman, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for NEN, they pushed their record up to 12-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Arlington is set to square off against their familiar foe Fort Calhoun at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, NEN will take on rival Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
