Football Recap: Sergeant Bluff-Luton Extends Winning Streak to Ten + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sergeant Bluff-Luton had no problem doing just that on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the North Polk Comets 55-15. Considering the Warriors have won eight contests by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Sergeant Bluff-Luton's tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.2 points over those games. As for North Polk, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Sergeant Bluff-Luton will challenge Pella on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Warriors 11.1, the Dutch 8.2) so any points scored will be well earned. North Polk does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
