Baseball Recap: Berea-Midpark Comes Up Short

Berea-Midpark made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Avon Lake, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Titans fell just short of the Shoremen by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Shoremen: they've now lost three in a row.

Berea-Midpark's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Avon Lake, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berea-Midpark will challenge Columbia at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Avon Lake, they will take on Westlake at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
