Basketball Recap: Faith Odaniel and Presley Kushner Secure Win for Oaks Christian

Oaks Christian lost to Calabasas back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Oaks Christian Lions walked away with a 59-48 victory over the Calabasas Coyotes. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Leading Oaks Christian to victory were Presley Kushner and Faith ODaniel. Kushner went 8 of 20 on her way to 21 points and six rebounds, while ODaniel went 7 for 14 en route to 15 points along with seven assists and seven boards. Kushner is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Andrea Woodward was another key player, putting up nine points.

Oaks Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 18 consecutive matches.
