Southeast Colorado waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Burlington Cougars a 12-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Angels also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Southeast Colorado's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Burlington, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-10.
