St. John Bosco gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Mayfair Monsoons 68-66. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Braves have posted since January 20th.

Christian Collins went supernova, dropping a double-double with 35 points and 16 boards. He has been hot, having posted nine or more rebounds the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Gavin Dean-Moss, who posted 12 points and seven assists.

When it comes to explaining why Mayfair lost, don't look at Josiah Johnson. Despite the final result, he put up 25 points in addition to eight assists and six boards. Marcus Valdez was another key player, putting up 11 points.
