Mooresville came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 69-53 win over the Rocky River Ravens. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Ravens are ranked 310th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Christian Wilson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 75% from the field on his way to 18 points in addition to five assists and four steals. Tyler Morrison also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
