Mukwonago waltzed into their game on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came out on top against the Waukesha West Wolverines by a score of 9-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 on Tuesday.

Mukwonago got a great performance from Ben Jones as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, Isaac Teisl was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Caden Baker, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Mukwonago was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.

Mukwonago's record is now 17-7. As for Waukesha West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.

Looking ahead, Mukwonago will square off against Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Waukesha West, they will welcome Arrowhead at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
