Basketball Recap: Abington Comes Up Short

Abington lost against Lansdale Catholic back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Abington Galloping Ghosts came up short against the Lansdale Catholic Crusaders, falling 63-41. While losing is never fun, the Galloping Ghosts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 145th, while the Crusaders are ranked eighth).

Abington's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Lansdale Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3.

Abington will square off against Hatboro-Horsham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Abington is facing Hatboro-Horsham at the right time seeing as Hatboro-Horsham is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lansdale Catholic, they will head out on the road to square off against Conwell-Egan Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
