Soccer Recap: Chavez Comes Up Short

Chavez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Taft Wildcats, falling 4-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in January.

Chavez's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-4. As for Taft, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chavez will face off against Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th. As for Taft, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Taft challenge the Wasco at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wasco will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.
