Softball Recap: Brantley County Comes Up Short

Brantley County couldn't beat Wayne County on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Herons fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 6-5. The Herons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Yellow Jackets from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

Brantley County now has a losing record of 0-1-1.

Coincidentally, Brantley County and Wayne County will both be playing Emanuel County Institute the next time they take the field. The Herons will head out to face the Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Yellow Jackets will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
