Basketball Recap: Upper Darby Comes Up Short

Upper Darby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 49-20 defeat at the hands of the Springfield Cougars. The game marked the Royals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Upper Darby now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Springfield, they moved to 5-5-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper Darby will venture away from home to challenge Harriton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper Darby is facing Harriton at the right time seeing as Harriton is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Springfield, they will challenge Bishop Shanahan at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
