Football Recap: Chandler Prep Piles Up the Points Against Bisbee

After only seven points in their last game, Chandler Prep made sure to put some points up on the board against Bisbee on Friday. The Titans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Pumas 49-0. Considering the Titans have won three matchups by more than 30 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Chandler Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Joey Busanni out in front who rushed for 67 yards and a pair of scores. Those 67 rushing yards gave Busanni a new career-high. Avery Hamler was in the mix too, providing Chandler Prep with two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Chandler Prep was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Chandler Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.3 points on average over those games. As for Bisbee, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Chandler Prep will host Lincoln Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bisbee, they are taking a road trip to challenge Tanque Verde at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
