Soccer Recap: Denver Takes a Loss

Denver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Aplington-Parkersburg this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Monday.

Denver's loss dropped their record down to 8-12-3. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, their win bumped their record up to 17-3-1.

Denver has already played their next contest (against Dike-New Hartford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Aplington-Parkersburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
