Temple was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Temple Tigers who were credited with the win. The Temple Tigers got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to the Rockmart Yellowjackets's five. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jalen Wirth and Ryan Rutledge scored both of Temple's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Temple pushed their record up to 5-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three matchups. As for Rockmart, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coming up, Temple will head out on the road to face off against Bremen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Bremen's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Rockmart, they will be playing at home against Haralson County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
