Softball Recap: Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union Takes a Loss

Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union lost against Sioux Central back in July of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Royals lost 17-9 to the Rebels.

Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Sioux Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union will host South O'Brien at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sioux Central, they will welcome Storm Lake St. Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
