Soccer Recap: Sigourney Comes Up Short

Sigourney lost against Prairie City-Monroe back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Savages took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. Sigourney have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sigourney's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Prairie City-Monroe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Sigourney will head out on the road to face off against West Branch at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Prairie City-Monroe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pella Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
