Basketball Recap: Terra Linda Takes a Loss

Terra Linda lost against Redwood back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Terra Linda Trojans were dealt an 85-25 loss at the hands of the Redwood Giants. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 895th, while the Giants are ranked 120th).

Terra Linda is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14. As for Redwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Terra Linda won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Petaluma at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Terra Linda is facing Petaluma at the right time seeing as Petaluma is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Redwood, they will venture away from home to face off against Marin Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
