Baseball Recap: Lithonia Comes Up Short

Lithonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 17-0 to the North Springs Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 17-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Lithonia saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johntavius Neal, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Lithonia's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for North Springs, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-14.

Coming up, North Springs will be playing at home against Allatoona at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lithonia will be paying especially close attention to the Spartans' matchup: after the Spartans face off against the Buccaneers, they'll take on Lithonia again at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
