Xavier hasn't lost a match since April 29th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Linn-Mar Lions by a score of 3-1. The game was the first time Xavier have beaten Linn-Mar on their pitch since April 16, 2015.

Xavier has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matchups. As for Linn-Mar, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9-1.

Xavier has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Iowa City on the 16th. As for Linn-Mar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against Western Dubuque on the 16th.
