Softball Recap: Jenkins County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Thursday just wasn't the day for Jenkins County's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Portal Panthers on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the War Eagles in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Jenkins County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Portal, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Coming up, Jenkins County will challenge Montgomery County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.58 runs per game on average), something the War Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Portal, they will face off against Emanuel County Institute at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
