Soccer Recap: Woodcrest Christian Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Woodcrest Christian has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Aquinas Falcons. That's two games in a row now that the Royals have lost by just one goal.

Woodcrest Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3. As for Aquinas, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodcrest Christian will welcome Loma Linda Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodcrest Christian's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Aquinas, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Linfield Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
