Rocky Mountain was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Loveland on Saturday. The Lobos were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over the Red Wolves. The win continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Red Wolves: they've now won eight in a row.

Rocky Mountain got a massive performance out of Ariana Jackson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. Yuki Wallander also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Rocky Mountain lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Rocky Mountain's record is now 8-10. As for Loveland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Rocky Mountain will head out to face off against Greeley West at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loveland, they will be playing at home against Fort Collins at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lambkins have averaged an impressive 10.6 runs per game this season.
