Softball Recap: Dunkerton Comes Up Short

Dunkerton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-4 to the Janesville Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-1 loss on June 7th.

Dunkerton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Janesville, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.

Janesville has already played their next match, a 16-0 loss against Maquoketa Valley on the 28th. Hopefully Dunkerton paid attention to the Wildcats' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats on Saturday.
