Soccer Recap: Greater Atlanta Christian Starts Season with Loss at Home

Greater Atlanta Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Oconee County Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greater Atlanta Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dawson County at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th. As for Oconee County, they will challenge Eastside at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
