Soccer Recap: Antelope Valley Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Quartz Hill, Antelope Valley was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Lancaster Eagles by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in January.

Giselle Medrano and Jessica Rendon scored both of Antelope Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

The win got Antelope Valley back to even at 8-8-1. As for Lancaster, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Antelope Valley nor Lancaster have any future games scheduled.
