Baseball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Yorktown

There's no place like home for Yorktown, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Washington-Liberty Generals on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 back in April.

Yorktown's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Washington-Liberty, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-9.
