Soccer Recap: Northgate Takes a Loss

Northgate managed to keep up with McIntosh until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Northgate Vikings came up short against the McIntosh Chiefs, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Northgate's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for McIntosh, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Northgate will face off against Dutchtown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McIntosh, they will take on Columbus at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
