Pine Creek extended their winning streak to six on Saturday, bumping them up to 6-0. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Liberty Lancers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Brayden Dailey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Grace Kempf was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one triple.

Pine Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .382 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

On Liberty's side, Chanel Guiterrez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was Guiterrez's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Selah Joiner, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
