Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Timberwolves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Clovis East's defeat dropped their record down to 13-19. As for Bakersfield Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-6-1.

Clovis East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bakersfield Christian, they will face off against Arroyo Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arroyo Grande's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Bakersfield Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
