Football Recap: Overlea Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Overlea and Towson squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Overlea had to settle for second. They took a 29-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Generals. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Generals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Overlea lost, don't look at Jacobi Brooks. Despite the final result, he rushed for 176 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 10.4 yards per carry.

Omari Rowell was nothing short of spectacular for Towson: he rushed for 98 yards and one TD on only 13 carries.

This is the second loss in a row for Overlea and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Towson, their record now sits at 7-3.

Overlea does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Towson, they will take on City College on Friday. The Generals will need to watch out since the Black Knights have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
