Softball Recap: Commerce Wins Going Away Against Towns County

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Madison County, Commerce was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Towns County Indians as they made off with a 15-3 victory. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Commerce's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11. As for Towns County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Commerce wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-2 defeat against Oglethorpe County on the 16th. As for Towns County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-5 victory against Lake Oconee Academy on the 18th.
