After losing to Westview the last time they met, JSerra Catholic decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The JSerra Catholic Lions walked away with a 68-56 victory over the Westview Wolverines on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Mia Jacobson and Sarah Heyn certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Jacobson went 8 of 11 on her way to 18 points and six rebounds, while Heyn went 8 for 16 en route to 19 points and five assists. Maren Zimmer was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

JSerra Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Westview, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-7.

JSerra Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 66-61 win against Orange Lutheran on the 28th. As for Westview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-53 victory against Mission Hills on the 28th.
