Soccer Game Preview: Regina vs. Prince of Peace Prep

Regina is a perfect 3-0 against Prince of Peace Prep since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Regals will face off against the Irish. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Regina is headed into the contest having not lost since April 28 and will look to keep things rolling. Everything went their way against Tipton last Friday as they made off with a 5-2 win. Considering Regina have won 11 games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Prince of Peace Prep kept a clean sheet against Alburnett on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Pirates 1-0.

Regina's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three matchups. As for Prince of Peace Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9-1 record this season.

Regina took their victory against Prince of Peace Prep when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 6-0 score. Will the Regals repeat their success, or do the Irish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
