Baseball Recap: Waterloo West Comes Up Short

Waterloo West was the 14-9 winner over Iowa City West when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Wahawks took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans on Monday.

Waterloo West dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Iowa City West, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waterloo West will host Cedar Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Iowa City West, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Davenport West at 5:00 p.m.
