After a string of four wins, West Liberty's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 8-4 to the Pleasant Valley Spartans. If the Comets were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Spartans when the teams met back in July of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.
