Softball Recap: Herculaneum Comes Up Short

Herculaneum came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-3 to the Festus Tigers. The Black Cats were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Herculaneum's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Festus, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Coming up, Herculaneum will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Windsor at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Festus, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against North County at 4:30 p.m.
