Waukomis got themselves on the board against Fairview on Monday, but Fairview never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Yellowjackets. The result was nothing new for the Chiefs, who have now won 14 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Waukomis has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Fairview, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waukomis will take on Fletcher at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairview, they will face off against Chisholm at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
