            Softball Recap: North Bend Central Tigers vs. Chadron Cardinals        
        
		
        
        
            It was a proper cat-fight when North Bend Central faced off against Chadron on Monday. The Tigers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of  13-12. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Pyper Daugherty and  Emma Rangeloff stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Daugherty  went 3-for-5 with two  triples, two  runs,  and two  RBI, while  Rangeloff  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Addison Johnson, who  went 1-for-4 with two  runs and one  double.
North Bend Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Chadron, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record  this season.
 North Bend Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chadron, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  7-6  loss against Yutan-Mead on the 6th.
