Baseball Recap: Houston Comes Up Short

Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Southland Rebels. If the Hurricanes were looking for revenge after losing 14-2 to the Rebels when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Houston's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Southland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

While Houston had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
