Baseball Recap: Lafayette Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

The home team had won the previous two meetings between LaFayette and Gilmer, and LaFayette kept the tradition alive. LaFayette walked away with a 7-3 victory over Gilmer on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 13-3 victory on Friday.

LaFayette's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Gilmer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.
